Telesummit CEU Credit
Terms & Conditions
Need a University transcript for CEUs?
Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia, is pleased to offer Keys to Unlocking Educational Success Telesummit participants continuing education units for their attendance at this online learning event. Go to: https://www.continuingstudies.vcu.edu/CourseStatus.awp3?&course=17-CEU-ED41 to register online at VCU. The total cost is $30 dollars for up to 2.3 CEU credits if you listen to all 23 one hour interviews
The CEU is uniform unit of measurement for noncredit continuing education activities. One CEU is defined as 10 contact hours of participation in an approved CEU event. For this Telesummit event, you will receive 2.3 CEU credits for listening to all 23 one hour interviews. Note: the CEU does not equate to regular university undergraduate or graduate credit.
This Telesummit series is prerecorded and replays are available. If you prefer to have access to the interviews all at once, a donation to the Margaret Byrd Rawson Institute will provide you with access anytime to each of the interviews. The number of viewing contact hours will be determined by the summation of all contact hours recorded as logged-in. Determination of valid contact hours is at the discretion of the Margaret Byrd Rawson Institute. Note: Flexible CEU start dates for telesummit replays are available continuously so you can listen at your convenience!
The CEU provides a means of recording an individual’s successful completion of various continuing education activities, allowing students to accumulate and transfer continuing education records throughout their lives. It is solely up to outside certifying agencies – not VCU – whether to accept or decline VCU's CEUs for the purpose of certification or licensure renewal.
Participants must complete successfully an evaluation form that will include requiring the participant to write, in sentence format, three learning 'takeaways' from the Telesummit series referencing specific speakers. This evaluation form will be made available to those signing up for CEU credit. You can request and send the evaluation form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your official CEU transcript will be available once everything is completed and properly filed with VCU. For instructions on finding and printing your transcript, visit the VCU Office of Continuing and Professional Education website at ocpe.vcu.edu.
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR CEUs purchased individually or in a group.
